This Privacy Policy explains how My CS Events, provided by an individual developer, handles information when you use the app and its related services. It describes the app's current features and the choices available to you.

1. Accounts and Personal Information

You can use the app without creating an account or providing your name, email address, or phone number. If you choose to contact the developer, the information you send is handled as described in Section 7.

The app does not access your contacts or precise location, request advertising identifiers, or use your activity for advertising tracking. It does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.

2. Online Content and Updates

The app connects to online services to check for and download event information, news, upcoming event details, and notices about app updates. These requests may include information about the content already available on your device so that the service can provide compatible updates.

Servers and content delivery services receive the information needed to handle these connections, such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, and technical information supplied by the network connection. Hosting and content delivery services may keep access or error logs for service operation, security, and troubleshooting. These records are separate from the preferences stored on your device.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Purchases, renewals, and refunds are handled through the Apple App Store. The developer does not directly receive or store your payment card details, billing address, payment account details, or Apple Account password.

The app uses StoreKit on your device to determine whether your My CS Events+ subscription is active and to make the corresponding features available. The app's current content update service does not receive your subscription status or Apple transaction credentials.

4. Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores information needed for your experience, including favorite players and their order, reminder preferences, identifiers for calendar entries it creates, guide completion status, postponed app update notices, and downloaded event information. Your favorites and reminder preferences are not uploaded to the developer's servers.

Information about downloaded content may be sent when checking for compatible updates, as described in Section 2. Device backups and any synchronization performed by your system or configured accounts are governed by those services and your settings.

5. Notifications and Calendar Access

If you enable start reminders, the app requests system notification permission and schedules event and stage reminders locally on your device. It does not send a push notification device token to the developer. Content update alerts appear inside the app after updated event information becomes available.

If you enable calendar entries, the app requests calendar access to add confirmed stage date ranges to your default calendar. Full Access allows it to find, update, and remove the entries it created. The app manages only those entries and does not upload your calendar contents to the developer.

Add Events Only allows the app to create entries, but does not allow it to update or remove existing entries. With Full Access, the app removes its managed entries after the stage ends or when you turn off the calendar option, when it can run and access your calendar.

You can change reminder options in the app and notification or calendar permissions in System Settings. If calendar access has been revoked, you may need to remove existing entries yourself in Calendar. Entries may sync through the account associated with your default calendar.

6. Saving and Sharing Images

When you choose to save a 2D analysis image, the app creates the image on your device and requests permission only to add it to your photo library. It does not read or upload your existing photos.

When you choose to share an image, the app opens the system share sheet. You decide which app, service, or person receives it. Saved photos and shared copies are managed through Photos, your photo synchronization settings, and the services you choose.

7. Feedback and Support

If you email the developer, the developer receives your sender address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. This information is used to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report.

The app's feedback action opens an editable email in your mail app, with the app version and a prompt to describe the issue prefilled. You can change or remove that text before sending. The app does not automatically send the email or attach diagnostic logs.

8. Service Providers and External Links

The following services support the app or are used when you choose a related action:

  • Apple provides purchase processing, subscription management, and system services such as notifications, Calendar, and Photos.
  • Alibaba Cloud hosting and content delivery services support online event information and downloads, and may process the connection information described in Section 2.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website, including its legal and support pages. Previously published legal and support pages remain hosted on GitHub Pages. Opening a page sends a web request to its hosting service, which receives connection information such as your IP address and the requested resource.
  • Support emails are delivered through email providers, including the developer's NetEase 163 mailbox and the provider you use to send the message.

Each provider processes information within its role under its applicable terms and privacy policy. The services you use, their infrastructure, and your account settings may involve processing in different countries or regions.

9. Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

  • You can remove favorite players and change reminder preferences in the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data from that device; backups are managed separately through your system or backup service.
  • Calendar entries and saved photos are managed separately in Calendar and Photos. Removing the app does not itself remove those items or copies you have shared.
  • Support correspondence is kept for handling your request and necessary follow-up. You can contact the developer to request deletion of correspondence you have sent, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
  • Retention of technical service logs depends on the relevant hosting and content delivery services' log rotation, archiving, and backup settings, and applicable legal requirements. Contact the developer for information about the records relevant to your request.
  • Apple manages purchase records and subscriptions. Deleting the app or requesting deletion of support correspondence does not cancel a subscription or delete Apple's purchase records.

You can contact the developer to ask about information relating to you or request access, correction, or deletion, as applicable. Provide enough context to locate the relevant correspondence or issue, and do not send passwords or payment card details. Requests involving records controlled by another provider may need to be made through that provider.

10. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. Where applicable law provides additional protection for minors, including children under 14 in China, those requirements apply. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to the developer, please contact the developer to request appropriate handling or deletion.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app's features, data handling, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy and its update date will be posted on this page. Material changes will be brought to your attention in an appropriate way, and consent will be requested where required.
